Christian Dior in Beijing

One of my favorite parts of the GersonCurse trip to China was the Christian Dior exhibit in the 798 District in Beijing. The District is a collection of warehouses that have been turned into gallery and studio spaces. The Dior exhibit is one of those shows that you just can't describe. Lets just say there was a 2 story high baby made out of cowhide and there were indoor hallways with grass and bamboo growing. Check out the link for a few pictures. Unfortunately it was impossible to take any of our own pics because there were gallery people EVERYWHERE!

check it out here.

  1. Ah! I'm so glad you posted about this! I think I dragged my dropped jaw around the entire show!

My fav was the hallway lined w/ ppl in Dior:
One one side were the runway models, and on the opposing wall were ppl "obviously doing it wrong"

    Ha! So cheeky!
