Cute Way to Decorate GersonCurse Labels!
This makes me so happy!
After getting back from a lovely honeymoon, Kevin sent over a photo of their wedding favors! (yes, that is beetroot chutney, no I haven't tried it...). But what a cute idea to add tags! I think it adds the right amount of pizzaz to their already amazing "Winter Country" wedding!.
Thanks for sharing Kevin & Natalie!

What's more religious than a corned beef sandwich? - Happy Food Coma day!
It's true! Jews love food! (Well, who doesn't?).
So, in honor of the Pilgrims chowing down, we thought we would share our traditions as well. In fact, there's a whole exhibit of Jewish food at the Jewish Museum of Maryland... with a few familiar faces!
A few months ago, there was a call to the community for photos and memories of your food "recollections". Good thing our family has it's own paparazzi in my Uncle Howard! With his trusty archive of 100 years worth of photos, he practically filled the whole exhibit with our family photos (eating of course)!
From their site:
Chosen Food: Cuisine, Culture and American Jewish Identity examines the diversity of Jewish eating and uncovers the messages in our meals. It shows how the foods we choose to eat speak volumes about who we are.Above are a smattering of photos around the exhibit...with some notable highlights! (Yours truly and her family!). The photos above were all taken by Howard (except where he is posing, and those were taken by his wife, Barbara)
Enjoy! And hope your food traditions include tasty-ness all day!

A Wild GersonCurse Label Appears!
My labels have never looked so GORGEOUS!!!
LUSH! FANTASTIC! ALLURING!
A while back I designed custom Strawberry Jam Labels for the wedding of Rob & Hayley - who, btw, have really similar designs tastes to our wedding - like Pies not Wedding Cake! Swoon!
And when I stumbled upon their photographs, I honestly squeeled. Like outloud.
As in "OMG THOSE ARE MY LABELS!!!!"
On top of that, they were taken by the super talented J.Grace Photography! (They're local to Baltimore..or DC really..heck, Baltimore is really just a suburb of DC anyways....).
So thanks Jessica for taking such amazing pictures and allowing me to post them!
And if you have a wedding coming up, totally check out their portfolio!
And if you want your own labels, here's my Etsy shop! (but you knew that already... :))

Treasury Love! All about the Leather ;)
Not that kind of leather people! Sheesh...
My Love Snake Bites Leather Cuff made it into the 2nd row! (far right).
I will never tire of being showcased in treasuries. Which means, if you're reading this now saying "Geez, will she stop already?" I say "Suck it!" Actually, I think I said something like "Aww come on.. this is so exciting for me! Suck it."
This Lovely Leather Treasury is from the Lovely Sullty!

CustomCon28 Entries are Up! And I couldn't be more Proud!
Every year Toy Mania holds their own special CustomCon where folks from all over submit their own custom action figures! (For those non-dork types, customs are figures that have never been in a store. Using resin or Frankensteining for parts, the artists create their own unique action figures)
And who should we see in the convention? The two entries above designed by my hubs! And let me just say... those DC figures are MOLDED RESIN! Painstakingly MADE BY HAND - not bought and painted! For weeks he was filling the dining room with blue plastic and measuring cups of liquid (plus we now have some fancy "coloring" on the kitchen counters). I think he deserves an A+++!
In other news: This guy REALLY wants a job at DST. Good luck there buddy.

Wheee hoo! Another day, another day of Treasury Love!
Today's was brought to us by MissPattisAttic, a very nice lady who has great taste in teacups and treasury lists. I'm pretty sure I will never tire of treasury lists. I feel like a celebrity. (and so should Heidi, since that's her reserved listing!).

A Wild GersonCurse Label appears at another wedding!
I just got the nicest email from a new bride!!!
A ways back, I designed pretty little blue labels for a lovely lady's McCutcheon's wedding favors. She just dropped me a line to say the GersonCurse "Spread the Love" Jam labels were a big hit at her wedding - and she was nice enough to send along pics!
Sooo lush with the contrast of blue labels on red gingham! ... is it weird that I'm getting a little hungry?
I love it when a good plan comes together!
Thanks for the drool-worthy photos Hayley & hope you had an amazing wedding!

GersonCurse Labels Appear in Illinois Wedding!
And I couldn't be more proud!!!
Stacy, the wonderful creative brains behind Oliveloaf Design, contacted me a while back on Etsy to create custom labels for her wedding favors. This lucky newlywed's Mother-in-Law not only made homemade Strawberry Rhubarb, but homemade Apple Butter too... so two distinct "Spread the Love" favors greeted the guests!
I'm so proud she chose my labels to be a part of her dynamo shindig!
Congrats again on your wedding Stacy! (and thanks for sharing these amazing photos!)
P.S. Ribbon/Medal of Honor Corsages? Genius!
