Transitioning Fluffy Skirts to the More Trendy: Straight Skirt!

According to Who What Wear and my uber trendy mom (see her with her great hat here), the trend this fall is Straight Skirts! Which is annoying, since my closet is filled with ultra feminine fluffy/ripply/anthropologie skirts...Sigh.

Never fear tho! In my endless pursuit of finding EVERYTHING on the net, I have found an answer!:

Make awesome "Skirt Covers!" ... okay, so I know this isn't exactly a skirt cover as much as it's an adorable handmade skirt, BUT! I'm thinking I might need to make myself something similar to update my wardrobe!
