Baltimore cops target smokers for loitering?

You've gotta be kidding!

BALTIMORE - Banished smokers taking nicotine breaks outside bars in one of Baltimore City’s trendy neighborhoods (Hampden) are being told to move or face fines and arrest for loitering, bar owners said.

Hampden bar owners said they were shocked last week when police began warning patrons to move 150 feet away from the entrance of bars they were patronizing or face loitering charges.

WTF? First we go non-smoking, then you have to move 150 ft away from the bar?
Do they want us in the street?
Or is this more non-smoking propaganda?

Stoopid, stoopid rules. Can't wait to break this one!
Here's the article.

  1. We went to a bar last night that is protesting the ban and still letting people smoke inside. It was awesome, except for some people who kept giving all the smokers dirty looks. I had half a pack just to celebrate.
