Controversial levee video

WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS

This video, made by students at Newman High School in New Orleans, Louisiana was pulled off of Youtube.com after the American Society of Civil Engineers served both the school and Levees.org (who originally posted the video on Youtube, then pulled it because they could not afford legal defense against the ASCE) with a cease and desist order, claiming the video defamed them.

Law firms have come forward to offer legal representation to defend the First Amendment rights of the students and Levees.org, and the video is back on Youtube.

If only my school was this cool.

  1. Wow seriously I am glad someone stepped up to represent these kids. When someone sends a cease and desist order its because they are guilty.
