The Swan is a 2004 American reality television program broadcast on Fox in which women who were judged to be 'ugly' were given "extreme makeovers" that included several forms of plastic surgery. Each contestant was assigned a panel of specialists — a coach, therapist, trainer, cosmetic surgeons and a dentist — who together designed a program of total transformation. via

I could rattle off a whole rant on Why the F would there even BE A SHOW LIKE THIS!!??? Why would we teach people that they are ugly until they get plastic surgery, new set of teeth, contacts (or lasik), and a slew of makeup artists? Ug. 

Of course, it's now cancelled due to ratings, but I'm scarred for life.
