Expedition to the New Chicago Tundra

After the great Chicago Blizzard of 2011, thousands of pounds of snow were removed from city's downtown streets. Loaded by bulldozers and heavy trucks, much of the snow was piled in the empty lot between our studio and the railroad tracks.

An expedition was immediately formed.
The goal; a bold assault aiming to place the very first men upon the summit of this peak. Known for their dexterity and grit, Dawson and Matt were selected for the dangerous undertaking.

This is their story.

I have been inspired to attempt to recreate another amazing journey - filming my heroic effort to reclaim our trash can from the alley. Few have known to survive.

  1. Whatever you do, make sure you have plenty of water, a flashlight, an emergency location transponder, a space blanket and a big bag of trail mix. Alert family to when you are leaving for your trash can expedition and your anticipated (hoped for) return. Oh, and what was with it's daytime-now it's evening transitions on the blizzard expedition?

  2. HAHAH!!! OMG. They should have consulted you before they left! They had no idea what Dangers they could have been in for! (That and... what about protection from the wildlife?)
