Backstory: Grey Gardens is the documentary of the "eccentric" cousins of Jackie O way back in the 70's. "Little Edie" Bouvier Beale and "Big" Edith Bouvier Beale live in a dilapidated 28-room mansion in the East Hamptons. And boy oh boy, have they got a style all of their own! ("Little Edie" has a pretty amazing taste in wearing Skirts in her hair...).
I always thought the original documentary was WAY underground, but I was way wrong! Considering they are remaking it for HBO starring... Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange!
