This American Life

This American Life , my new addiction, is a Radio Show that has a theme each week where stories are shared.

Some notable contributors are David Sedaris, Sarah Vowell, Russell Banks, Dave Eggers, John Hodgman (from Mac vs. PC commericals), Michael Chabon, Nick Hornby, Dan Savage and Haruki Murakami.

They are all pretty funny, but Sarah Vowell's recant of high school band sent me in hysterics!

Some other good ones are Babies buying babies (Elna Baker reads her story about the time she worked at the giant toy store, FAO Schwartz.) and Babysitting (where kids babysit kids that don't exist!)
